  16.   JoyFreq is a filerequest server utility. The program can be configured
  17. so that freqs (I will refer to it as 'freq' from now on) can only be made
  18. at certain times, or so that only certain persons can access some areas or
  19. magics. You can also set a password for all the files. Furthermore, JoyFreq
  20. keeps count of how many files, bytes and minutes everyone has freqed, to be
  21. able to maintain the freq-limit that you want for every single node.

  23.   JoyFreq may also serve file requests directly from a CD-ROM or a CD-ROM
  24. changer. That if you are using JoyCD - The CD-ROM Door for excelsior,
  25. that can handle contents indexing, witch generates files that are readable
  26. by both JoyFreq and JoyList.

  29.         As usual, here's first a list of all the features of JoyFreq.

  32.   ■ Fast! Can find one or several files (doesn't matter how many files
  33.     that are freqed at once, when JoyFreq never scans the same list more
  34.     than once) in about 8 seconds, with a file ammount of 6500. JoyFreq
  35.     doesn't run indexed, which means that WHEN JoyFreq will handle
  36.     indexes, it will become even faster. Right now I didn't think that it
  37.     was all that necessary with indexing.

  39.   ■ Excelsior! BBS-specific - E!'s own files are used, which gives a fast
  40.     and safe search.

  42.   ■ The possibility to use several configuration files - one for every
  43.     node, or as many as you like.

  45.   ■ Userdefined automatic letters sent to both the caller and the sysop.

  48.   ■ Uses two libraries - joy_excel.library, which is used by almost every
  49.     E!-utility made by JoJoSoft and JoySoft.
